Last year the team at SAVEM Control lost a much loved team member. Jaynie the adopted Greyhound had turned 12 years old and had several deteriorating medical problems. About the time she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, the Greyhound Adoption League Texas were asking for calendar photos for their 2025 Calendar. GALT’s motto is No Grey Turned Away, and they rehome dozens of ex-racing Australian Greyhounds who are flown to Texas in search of their forever homes. Jaynie’s photo was sent, and selected for March 2025. The Coordinator asked the team at GALT to acknowledge SAVEM on Jaynie’s page, which they happily did. Thanks to GALT for helping with SAVEM’s international outreach.
