SAVEM thanks Reverend Sheila and Northfield Christian Spiritualist Mission for a generous donation to SAVEM. NCSM has supported SAVEM since the Sampson Flat fire of 2015, but has recently been wound up due to dwindling volunteer numbers to maintain and run their organisation. NCSM administrators divided its assets equally among 12 charities supported over more than three decades – SAVEM being one. NCSM’s community outreach in the northern suburbs will be missed.
