The UK based company TBA Firefly produces kevlar products suitable for bushfire resistant construction in buildings and formwork for metal castings.
Fireflyt Horse Protection has been developed by the company director (a horse owner) for horses left in the open in bushfire conditions. There is no formal testing method for this product, but SAVEM brings this to your attention as an innovative contribution to equine protection – where a need has been identified and methods, resources and materials have been applied from other industries .
